Perfect Day

I think I had the most perfect Mother's Day that I have ever had. It wasn't that We did anything special, we just spent all day together. The boys were as near to angels as they could be, what more could I ask for? We went to church for the first time since we came out here and it was so refreshing. Then we came home and took naps. ( I actually didn't take a nap, simply because I couldn't sleep, but I had a chance to.)

Later we went to a nearby park and just played. The guy who did the 'beanie babies' is from Westmont and he built this amazing park here. Seriously. Crazy. Awesome. There are two playgrounds and a splash park. At least two baseball diamonds. A little stream. miles of walking trails. And that is just what we saw. I think we just saw a small portion.

We had a great time playing on the little kid playground. I loved it. It was perfect age for my boys. I knew that they weren't going to try something too hard and get hurt. It was huge. I cannot explain how 'wow' it was. I think we will be spending most of our days there. Logan keeps talking about the diggers. next time I go I will try to remember my camera.

After the park we just came back here, we watched 'Beauty and the Beast' (the current favorite show) and just snuggled together. Just perfect.

Very low-key day. Loved every second of it. When I was putting Logan to bed I told him 'Thank you for the nice Mother's Day.' and he said, "Happy Mother's Day, Mama. I love you."

Melt my heart. I hope you all had great Mother's Days too!
