sleep habits

Yesterday when I walked into Bronson's room to get him up from his nap, he had piled all of his blankets AND his pants up in the corner and was about to climb out of the crib. So we have a crib we are getting rid of and Bronson is transitioning into a twin bed. Last night the boys actually slept in the same room (well, for about half the night).

It was so funny. I put Bronson down first and let Logan stay up for a bit to give Bronson a chance to fall asleep and the whole time Logan kept telling me how tired he was and how he really wanted to go to bed. Mama of course knows better than to be fooled by this and I easily deduced that he simply wanted to go upstairs so he could play with Bronson. When we did finally put Logan to bed we explained to him that it was his job as the big brother to protect Bronson and stay in his own bed and let mommy and daddy know if Bronson woke up.

Bronson did wake up. A LOT. but Logan slept right through all of it. Eventually we put Bronson back in the crib with just one blanket (and really warm pajamas!) so that he wouldn't wake up Logan and we will try again tonight. We have someone coming to pick up the crib today so we are not going to have the option of taking the easy way out tonight. Wish me luck!

GOOD LUCK WITH THAT BUT I'M GLAD THAT LOGAN DIDN'T WAKE UP BRONSON. THEIR SO FUNNY, BUT LOGAN HAD A HARD TIME TRANSITIONING OVER TO THE BED TOO. THAT WAS WAY FUNNY.
