I have never been pulled over in my life.
Well, that was true, until Saturday. I was driving to Wal-Mart with Logan in the back. We were turning right and there were a ton of people (probably 20 or so) trying to turn left, since my side was clear I decided that I would be nice and let them all go in front of me while they had the chance. I did not know this at the time but this would be my egregious mistake. So, after letting all these people go, I went. This puts me at the back of the line of cars all traveling the same speed. I saw the cop sitting there, glanced at the MPH sign beside him and saw that it was 50 and that was the exact speed I was traveling. I thought I was fine. But I was wrong.
Apparently the speed limit is 35 UNTIL you get to the where the cop was sitting. I had no idea that I was even breaking the law. To make matters worse Logan is trying to get out of his carseat the whole time and we have yet to receive the plates for our new car. I was shocked (and so relieved) that the policeman only gave me a warning.
On my way back from the store I saw him pulling over someone else in the same spot.

I just had to comment on this post. I hate it when cops do this kind of thing. For the most part I am so greatful to the cops and their families, but when a cop stocks an area just to trap law abiding citizens, it drives me crazy! Their time would be much better spent watching for drivers that weave in and out of traffic or cracking down on drug enforcement. It sounds like he was a good guy in the fact that he let you off with a warning. So maybe he is just tring to educate the pubic. We can hope.
yeah, they know right where to catch people sounds like!
