I know I have been seriously slacking, and for that I apologize. I will try to to better. Just know that we have a very busy few weeks ahead and I may not get back on track for awhile. We are moving to St. George on the 30th, and not at all packed. Also, with this pregnancy I have just been so exhausted that it is all I can do to make sure the boys are fed and alive. I should be getting over it soon. I hope.
A few stories I have been saving.
Apparently mamas don't get presents. Logan told me that I don't get presents for Christmas. I told him that if I wasn't getting any presents then I guess I didn't need to be good. And he said that I did have to be good, that mamas aren't allowed to be naughty. That I don't get presents because I am too old.
Logan likes to pretend to be a reindeer. When he is a reindeer his name is Toddy (don't ask, I don't know.) When he is a reindeer he hops around on all fours like a frog. When he is a reindeer he doesn't need a fork at dinner because reindeer just put their faces in their food. He is not allowed to be a reindeer at mealtimes.
Great mommy moment that happened yesterday. We were playing at a friend's house and I asked Logan not to play with the balls anymore because he was knocking over the basketball hoop and throwing the balls too hard in the house. A few minutes later the older boy (he is 5) was trying to get Logan to play with the balls again and from across the room I heard Logan tell him that he can't because his mommy asked him not to. *sigh* I was so proud of him for standing up for himself, and doing what he thought he should even though I wasn't nearby.
My boys love kiwi. If you want to get on their good side bring them a kiwi. you may think I am joking. I am not. I can hardly get one peeled before it is eaten whole. I even tried chopping them up and I can't even sit down before it is devoured. I like kiwi too, but if I want to eat one I have to wait till they are asleep or otherwise occupied. Or I will only get maybe half of a kiwi.
I am sure there are more stories that I have missed in my month off but that is all that comes to mind immediately. If I think of more I will post again. Yeah, right.
