Finally!

I know it has been forever since I have updated, but my computer is totally dying (new one should be here soon) and I haven't been able to get online. well, I have good news, (no I am not pregnant) I found my camera cord! so yeah! I have tons and tons of pictures to put up, some from events I have previously blogged about. I will try and get as much catching up done as I can today, but that all depends on cooperative kids. here are some cute pics of the boys taken a few weeks ago. Just to tide you over. Like I said, lots more to come!

Ikea Commercial, Robert Muraine, SYTYCD

If any of you are "So You Think You Can Dance?" fans, like me, you will likely enjoy this commercial. Check this out and tell me what you think! It is Robert Muraine in an Ikea commercial. CRAZY stuff, right? Though, I have to say, the girl kinda ruins it. But how can you really expect anyone else to be as good as Robert Muraine.


Also, Happy Birthday to Steve! He is 27 today. Not exactly a milestone, like say 21 or 30, but still worth mentioning! I was counting, and we met in July of 2003, so this is the 6th birthday that he has had since our fateful meeting! Lucky us! I love you, Steve!

Twitch on SYTYCD

Okay, I am probably one of the only people in the world who didn't know this but Twitch from "So You Think You Can Dance?" is on Hairspray! I was so surprised! And he isn't just in it a little, he is in it A LOT. First time you see him is in the detention scene, he is also in the platter party scene, the protest scene, the part where they rescue Tracy and Penny from Penny's house, and the scene where they sneak Tracy into the hairspray pagent. He is also the boy at the end where Britney Snow's character learns how to dance. Some people dislike the fact that he is able to be on the show with Adam Schankman (who choreographed Hairspray) being a guest judge, while Debbie Allen (who helped train Will) wasn't allowed to be. I do not have this problem. If that was the case Mia Michaels, Tyce Diorio, and most of the guest judges wouldn't be able to judge because they have worked with/choreographed many of the dancers on the show. I do feel that they should have mentioned this on the show. Twitch is one of my favorites but they tend to portray him as strictly a street dancer with no formal training, when obviously he is good enough at what he does to already have paying jobs. I don't like Twitch any less, I love Hairspray and it is fun to see him on there. I just feel it should have been mentioned. What do you think?

Sweet Guy

I have such a sweet husband! On Saturday I was sick ( I know, shocking, right?) So Steve took care of all of my errands for me. When he came home he surprised me with flowers! It was so sweet. Absolutely made my day. In reality I shouldn't have been that surprised, he actually does this pretty often. We have only been here a month and this is already the second time. What a sweet guy! I am so glad I snatched him off the market!

What a smart little kid!

I am always amazed by how smart kids are. Logan surprises me all the time. Today he was coloring and showed me that he wrote his name on the top of the page. I thought he did such a good job that I wanted to share it with all of you! All he needs to learn now is to do the little line on the 'G' and he is all set! (by the way, still no camera cord, these were taken with my phone)

mildly amusing stories from my day to day life

I know that I have such an exciting life that you all want to hear every single detail, right? Well, here are a few stories, to try and help satiate your longing for more info about our little family. Many of you have probably heard at least one of them, but here goes anyway.

The other day Bronson was finishing his lunch and wanted to get down. He still had part of a cracker in his hand so I told him that he needed to put it on his tray if he wanted to go play. He promptly stuffed the entire cracker into his mouth (it was probably about 1/3 of a graham cracker.)

Logan knows that he is not allowed to yell in the house so when we go outside he likes to ask me if he can yell, I tell him (usually) that he can. He apparently can't think of anything in particular that he wants to yell so he says "YELL! YELL! YELL!"

Bronson is at a very OCD stage right now where he likes to line everything up. Currently his obsession is with matchbox cars, and he likes to line them up, evenly spaced, on top of either our entertainment center or our kitchen table. If the bench isn't pushed under enough he can't reach the table, at which point I hear angry cries coming from my kitchen.

Bronson also hates being poopy. When I come into check on him he likes to turn his back to me so that I will check his diaper and clean him up.

Another weird thing that Bronson does is hit his head on everything on PURPOSE. This I completely do not understand. He does it all the time. Happy, Frustrated, Craving Attention. I don't know. I know it hurts him, but he just keeps doing it.

Logan is potty-trained. At least he understands the concept enough, just doesn't always follow through. The other day he was supposed to be taking a nap and apparently had to go to the bathroom. Instead of telling me, he decided it would be a better idea to take off his pants and underwear, get a pull-up out of the closet and put it on and then go pee. He also proceeded to put his pants back on, on top of his pull-up and put his underwear away in the drawer.

Well, that is about all I've got for now. Hope you enjoyed my odd little stories. You didn't? Sorry. If you don't like hearing about my boys I guess you shouldn't read my blog anymore. Because they are the only stories I have!
