Haircuts

My boys, wow, did they need haircuts or what? By haircut I mean putting a #5 on the clippers and buzzing their heads. Logan is very used to haircuts and sat very still for me. Steve had to hold Bronson on his lap with a candy cane in his mouth to keep him from wiggling too much (that should explain the red 'lipstick'!). Poor Bronson, looks like a chemo patient! I miss those little curls!

Unimen?!

Lately Logan has been jumping up onto my couch and saying to me "help! help! A unimen! A unimen!" This has left me quite perplexed as I had no idea what a "unimen" was. I didn't know if he was trying to say unicorn and just not getting it right or what. Then the other day we were watching "Go, Diego, Go!" (which Logan likes a LOT but it rather annoys me so we haven't seen it in awhile) and this penguin Diego was rescuing says "Help! Help! Ayuda me! Ayuda me!" Ah-hah! Mystery solved!

Bronson's new word

In this video I have just told Bronson "no". He is repeating me to the best of his ability. His first word! (well, other than mama and daddy!)

He has suddenly decided that he likes signing. He now regularly signs 'more', 'eat', 'milk', 'all done', 'play', 'hat', and his newest one is 'candy'--took about 2 minutes for him to master that one! He has several others that he does occasionally, 'cat', 'dog', 'bird', and 'please'. I am constantly amazed by how intelligent little kids are!

Silly Bronson

In my last post I mentioned how Bronson likes to look at us upside down, well here it is. I took it from the side so that you could see what was going on, and it is grainy because I took it with my phone. This is what Bronson loves to do, head and hands on the floor and giggle at you through his legs. Silly little cutie!

Thoughts

My kids drive me crazy. It amazes me how one minute I can be so upset with them for something they have done and the next minute I just want to hold them and never let go. I am so grateful for my beautiful boys. They bring me so much happiness and purpose. I love to see them play together, giggling and grinning. I love how when Bronson is crying Logan comes over and hugs him and says "it's okay Bronson, it's okay!" I love the way Bronson's bottom lip pouts when he cries. I love that Logan always says to me "I sure love you, mama, I sure do." I love the way they dance around and bounce when any music comes on- even a tv commercial. I love the way Bronson takes off wobbly running when he gets something he knows he shouldn't have. I love the little quirks that make me smile. That Logan won't sleep if his closet door is open. That Logan won't eat the Pterodactyl shaped chicken nuggets. That Bronson signs "more" for EVERYTHING. The way that Bronson puts his hands and head on the floor and giggles as he looks at you between his legs. When Bronson tries to put everything on his head because he loves hats. That Logan remembers everything that has ever happened or mama has ever said. I love that when I tuck Logan in at night he holds my neck and tells me that I'm "never gonna get away!" Sometimes I forget how truly lucky I am to have two healthy, rambunctious, sweet, curious little men in my life. I would be lost without them.

Another diaper cake! yeah!

I told you I was making another one for Tiffany, and here it is! She is having twin boys so I made this one taller. Jen and Becca both came over to help with this one (they are going to the shower with me). I didn't let them help very much, Jen did all the bows (don't they look great?) She also helped roll the diapers and open packages, Becca opened packages and rolled a few diapers. Though to be fair to them I am SURE they would have helped a lot more if I had let them, problem is I enjoy putting it all together too much! Such fun! Can't wait to make another one! Anyone else pregnant???

Brand New Niece

This is Clara Jo Wood, Parents are Brian and Sevina Wood (Steve's brother). She is 8 lbs 5 oz, 19 inches long. Can't believe how much hair she has! wow! Congrats Sevina and Brian!
