Steve just got switched to graves, so that is interesting. In some ways it is really nice. He is now able to go to church, so I am not trying to wrestle both boys by myself anymore! that is a plus for sure, but he works the night before, so he is basically a zombie at church!
I have long been wanting to make an advent calendar for Christmas. I decided to just do it this year. You want to see??? Really? okay.
As you can see, it is unfinished. I still have to figure out the backing and attach the pockets to it. But, I think it is really coming along. I made all of the patterns myself, and I saved all of the templates, if any of you want to make your own. I am most proud of my reindeer and penguin. You may be wondering about some of the ornaments. like the volcano? or the pokemon ball? or the football? not really traditional Christmas ornaments, right? well, there is a reason for that. I decided I wanted to personalize it a bit each year. So I thought about what my boys are most interested in right now. Logan loves volcanoes and (currently) wants to be a vulcanologist (among many, many, many things.) Bronson loves pokemon. and of course, Steve loves football. (the heart was chosen for me by my boys) So I made personal ornaments for each, and next year I will make new one and update our advent.
Well, I am tired of typing, for now. I will try and post again really soon.

I've missed your posts. Jason did graves for a long time too. "Interesting" is a good word for it. Glad to hear that all is well with you and your family.
such a cute tree. totally impressed you made your own templates!
Great advent calendar. I wish I were crafty, but I am not. I am in awe of your talent, as always.
The advent calendar looks very cute, and I love your idea of personalizing the ornaments!
