Dinosaur Museum

We decided to take a trip to our local dinosaur museum a few weeks ago. Overall it was pretty disappointing for my boys. It was mostly dinosaur tracks. But there were a few things that stood out. For one thing Logan was able to identify -from bones- a dinosaur that our "tour guide" couldn't. That was fun! They did like the T-Rex footprint, probably the highlight of the tour. The gift shop took them as long as the tour, looking at everything and trying to decide on just one! Logan has been saving his money and telling me exactly what he wants to purchase at the museum gift shop.

The most exciting part was by far the sandbox. It was just a big sandbox with some 'bones' buried in it, but Logan found part of it right away and spent the next 45 minutes trying to uncover as much as possible. All in all- a success, but really not worth the money!

Logan could identify a dinosaur just from looking at the bones? Crazy. I think you have a budding "polentologist" on your hands!
