Birds and the Bees with a 4 year old. Hmmmmm

Logan is a curious boy. Like most children his age, he is always asking 'why?'

Logan asked me how babies get in girls' tummies. I thought, "Oh boy! He is barely 4, how do I say this so that he understands without telling him too much or without scaring him to death!"

I said, "After they are married, then girls can get babies in their tummies."

He said, "But how do the babies get there?"

I said, "After they are married Heavenly Father can put babies in girls' tummies. They grow there until they are ready to be born, and then they are born and they keep growing some more."

Awkward! He seemed satisfied with my answer. Hopefully, he won't ask again for several years.
