Jumping fedoras

I decided I needed to update my photo wall.Luckily, when I was at Wal-Mart the other day I saw these cute fedoras for $6. I knew immediately what I was going to do.  The boys were good sports about it, we had a great time trying to get them to jump at exactly the right time. or not. it was actually kind of frustrating. I took probably 30+ pictures of the boys jumping and only had one where they were jumping together and I could see both their faces and it wasn’t too blurry. A professional photographer I am not! Enjoy!

I am such a slacker. I JUST uploaded Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas pictures from my phone to my computer. I am having an internal debate about whether or not to post them. I know it is crazy late, but I think I may post them anyway. Yep. At least a quick recap.

Christmas Presents for Mom and Mother in Law

An elf came to our family this year. Meet Captain Fuzzyboots. He was a very mischievous elf and got into all kinds of trouble. We loved it! We can't wait to have him back again this year!

Easter! Logan won the annual Morley Family Egg Roll. It was very exciting, and all he talked about the whole way home!

Well, I guess that about catches us up! {sigh} It feels good to get that done! We are loving Ogden- for the most part. We have an awesome ward and great neighbors. We are going to be sad when we leave this place (we are figuring about another year).

Steve is loving his job and I am so glad that he finally has a job that he really enjoys. I know we still have a lot of school ahead of us, but it feels good to know we have made progress.

In other news, for anyone who doesn't know. I had surgery for my endometriosis in February. they were hoping to be able to clean things out so that we could get pregnant, but the endo is now in my tubes and blocking them completely. so, our current plan is to try for in vitro. We are so grateful for our sweet boys and hope maybe someday to add to our family.

Bronson's 5th Birthday! Super Mario!

 

The cupcakes are not homemade, but the stars and clouds are! i know they aren't perfect, but they are pretty darn cute!

not a great picture, but you can see the hats i made. (pattern here). they turned out SO cute! i also cut out mustaches from sticky-back felt for everyone to wear. you can kinda see the bags of gold coins on the table- i don't have pictures but we played a coin hunt game with them. you can't really see them, but the two blue plates hold chocolate mustache lollipops, they really were cute, i promise! by far, the hit of the party was the hats.

We played "Don't Eat Mario". You can't see it super well, but i made the little star design myself. I thought it turned out cute. this game was a big hit with the kids.



We played pin the mustache on mario. i made the mario myself, thank-you-very-much! i printed a picture from the internet and did the best i could. these mustaches were also made with sticky back felt. (Bronson now has Mario hung up in his room!)

Here is the pinata --it is supposed to be a yoshi egg-- certainly not my best work, but it served its purpose. Bronson even painted it himself! He was quite  proud of himself! We played one other game that I have no pictures of. It was a can game- you know, knock over the cans with a ball- I printed off Mario villians and glued them on the cans. 

Cute lil birthday boy! he was so excited he blew out the candles before we even finished singing! (he chose his outfit especially for his party!)

Logan's first lost tooth!

These kids are growing up too fast! Logan just lost his first tooth! He even pulled it out himself!
