Tough Bronson

Lately it seems as though Bronson is suddenly talking. I know, he has been talking forever. It just seems like in the last few days he has decided that he likes to use sentances and a wider variety of words. It feels like he is suddenly not a baby anymore. Exciting for him. Sad for mama.

Baby tips

I know many of you are first time parents and you may be wondering if you are doing things right. Here is a quick guide to help you know if you are on the right path. If you find yourself in a situation that you are unsure how to handle, this is a quick refrence guide for you. (my favorites are the nursing one and both of the diapers ones.) Enjoy! I know I did!

Inspired Bookshelf

I told you when I posted the before and after pictures of my bookshelf that I wasn't quite done with it. Now I am. My inspiration came from one of my favorite websites thrifty decor chick. She has such an awesome site, you really should check her out. Anyway here is my version. What do you think?

Making Cookies

Yesterday the boys and I made sugar cookies. It was a disaster. Much more stressful than I had anticipated. Bronson didn't want anyone else even touching the cookie cutters and Logan kept rolling the dough in the flour. I ended up making most of them on my own.

Today we frosted yesterdays cookies and it went much smoother. The boys had a great time eating and making a mess. Lesson learned. From now on when I want to make cookies, I will make the cookies and allow the boys to decorate them. more fun for everyone! ( I have WAY more pictures but figured ya'll wouldn't want to see them all, but if you are interested there are more on facebook.)

Bought this dresser at a garage sale. I think I paid $30 for it. We have been using it in the boys room, but I think it may be more at home in MY room!

This dresser was given to us by an Aunt and Uncle of Steve's. This before pic is actually courtesy of my SIL Heather because she was given an identical dresser and I forgot to do a before pic. Thanks Heather!

An old bookshelf that I would gladly have parted with now looks like it was made to match. You probably can't tell from the pic but in the before there is a ridge at the top that I didn't like so I filled it in with putty. I am actually not done with this bookshelf, I have one more project that I will show you when it is done.

Bath time

This picture just makes my heart melt! The best pic I could get of Bronson, he was rather uncooperative. Much more interested in playing with the bath toys than acknowledging that I exsisted.

Sweetie Boys

Bronson and me cuddling. Don't you just love his hair? I have actually cut it several times, but when Logan was two he had tons of fluffy curly hair and when i cut it it never grew back the same, so I just can't bring myself to cut it.

Logan was keeping me company on Sunday when I was really sick and in bed all day. He gets so concerned about me. What a sweetheart!
