Bowling with toddlers!

Just before New Years we went bowling with Steve's family. It was a blast. Logan insists that he doesn't need any help to bowl, but without help it either gets stuck halfway down or takes 5 minutes to get all the way to the pins! So funny to watch him try and pack the ball around. Always an adventure trying to take a two-and-a-half year old out in public! The girl in the second pic is Steve's sister Katie. She is such a sweetie. She is down at Snow and we miss having her around. It was so fun to get to see her for a few days.

Bathtime "ART"

One of the fun things that Logan received for Christmas was an assortment of bathtime "art supplies". This included bath tints, crayons, finger paint and foam pictures that stick to the tub. The best part is that he can make a huge mess and then he has just as much fun cleaning it up! He has a great time choosing what color bath he wants. Bathtime is a big threat now, if he is misbehaving, threatening to take away bathtime works like a charm! Such a great gift for a kid like Logan who needs a place to get messy without driving his momma crazy! Thanks for the great gift Chuck and Heather!

Christmas at our home

In the past we have always done Christmas morning at either Steve or my parents house. This year we did our own thing. We still included both sides of the family, Christmas Eve at my parents house and Christmas day at Steve's parents house. It was really odd to have just us there, still fun, but odd. It was so calm and quiet. Though I am certain that will change as the boys get older! Here are some pics of the boys that morning. Sorry so short. More to come later!

Tickle Time!

Everyday when Steve gets home from work he is mauled by two adoring boys. Logan saying "daddy, daddy, daddy, daddy!" and Bronson diving out of my arms to get to him. Here is a shot of the boys having some tickle time, laughing their heads off and enjoying every second! The lump still clearly visible on Logan's head. Poor kid!

Bump on the noggin

Logan is two and a half and very active. Unfortunately, he is not coordinated enough for how active he is, and he falls down A LOT. Case in point, just last night he tripped over Steve's feet (which, by the way, are NOT small to begin with. size 15) and went forehead first into Grandma Wood's coffee table. He got a huge bump on his noggin and cried a bit, but he says he feels fine now. The picture really does not do justice to how big the bump is. poor kid, looks like he has a third eye.

Wonder of wonders, miracle of miracles!

Many of you know that I lost my wedding ring nearly two years ago. I took it off one day and when I went to put it back on it was missing. We searched everywhere, it was not to be found. Since then we have moved several times, packed, unpacked, repacked, etc. I had completely given up hope of EVER seeing it again. In fact, just a few weeks ago Steve bought me a CZ replacement ring to wear till we could afford a new one.

As you know, we moved about a month ago, we are still unpacking. Yesterday we were continuing our unboxing effort and Steve came across a wonderful surprise. My RING! He found it inside the handle of a bin that we have packed and unpacked a million times! I still can't believe it! I keep looking at my finger, like we just got engaged or something. Steve says he is off the hook for Christmas because there is nothing he could get me that would top that, he is right!

Eating Snow

On Saturday we had our first big snow. Logan and I went out to play, but he was mostly interested in eating it.

When we came inside and took off his hat he had some seriously crazy hair!
